Artist: Pam Winchester

As part of the Hammond Barn Quilt Trail, we wanted an American flag on our barn.  Pam Winchester was able to turn this desire into a barn quilt by using a design with a double arch quilt pattern for the arch and overlaying our national bird, the Bald Eagle.

Every year a group of ladies from CA pick a place to tour a barn quilt trail. Out of all the towns in 50 states, they chose Hammond.  Because of this great honor, the Hammond Barn Quilt Trail and the Hammond Garden Club coordinated a tour of all the barn quilts in the Hammond area. Many businesses created flower beds to go with the theme of their barn quilts. Ron built a flower bed special for this occasion.
